Queen Esther

Esther 4:1–17

For children

Esther became queen of Persia. A wicked man named Haman planned to hurt all of God's people. Esther's cousin Mordecai said, "Maybe you became queen for such a time as this." Esther bravely went to the king and asked him to save her people — and he did!

For grown-ups

God's name never appears in Esther, yet His hand is on every 'coincidence'. Esther risks her life to intercede for her people — a shadow of the Mediator who gave His.
