The Last Supper

Luke 22:7–20

For children

On the night before He died, Jesus ate a special meal with His friends. He took bread and said, "This is my body, given for you." He took the cup and said, "This is my blood." He told them to remember Him whenever they eat this meal.

For grown-ups

At the Passover table Jesus institutes the Lord's Supper and interprets His death as the new covenant sacrifice. The church has kept this meal ever since.
