Jesus Is Born

Luke 2:1–20

For children

Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem, but there was no room for them to stay. Baby Jesus was born and laid in a manger. Angels told shepherds, "Good news! A Savior is born!" The shepherds ran to see Him and told everyone about Jesus.

For grown-ups

The eternal Son enters history in the town of David, under a Roman census, announced first to shepherds. The Word became flesh — God with us — to save His people from their sins.
